2004 Highlights
In order that we could provide better catering services at our Park, we have partnered with PTI Premium Banquet Services and added a first class catering kitchen to the hall. The hall is now available year round.
Annual General Meeting: The highlights of the evening were:
- The approval of the Replacement Objects and Bylaws.
- The introduction of Gil Bourgeois, our 2004 President
- The roasting of our 2003 President, Jim Needham
21st Annual Crib Tournament: 98 teams participated at March 11th tournament. We thank Capital Oilfield Equipment Inc., Columbia Oilfield Supply Ltd. and Topco Oilsite Products Ltd. for being the event sponsors. Robert Wall & Chad Whitworth from Global Service Rig were the big winners. You can check out the other winners under Crib Tournament under events.
3rd Biennial Seafood Extravaganza and Silent Auction: The Park Opening – which was held on May 14th was a great success with 550 people attending and raising $17,565. The OTS Board would like to thank all the Silent Auction Donors for their generous donations.
34th Annual Golf Tournament: The tournament was held at the Coloniale Golf & Country Club on August 19 & 20.
Laurence (Larry) MacLean, the OTS treasurer from 1970 to 1994, was honoured for his past contributions at the Golf Banquet.
Fall Classic: The October 1st event was another OTS success. 114 turkeys were won at the various games held during the night.
